We will follow the National Cycle network, route 1 from Gravesend to Greenwich, for 24 miles. We have chosen meeting places along the way that are near to national rail stations. Here are the 5 meeting points with maps, cycle route and satellite view:
Meeting at 9.45am at Baltic Wharf, Gravesend (24 miles to Greenwich)
Meeting at 11am by The Hufflers Arms, Hythe Rd, Dartford (16 miles to Greenwich)
11.50am Riverside Gardens, Erith (10 miles to Greenwich)
12.30pm Pond Wharf, Woolwich (4 miles to Greenwich)
1pm The Gypsy Moth Pub, Greenwich Church Street, Greenwich arrive!
On arrival at The Gypsy Moth Pub, there will be space to leave bikes outside the pub and we will be gathering in the conservatory.
Things you may want to bring:a rain jacket/water proofs, a reflective jacket, gloves, water to drink, snacks, a helmet, a bike lock, a little puncture repair kit and bike pump, and plenty of good humour! We will cycle at a leisurely pace so everyone can join in and we will cycle as a group as much as possible. Kids and baby trailers very welcome too!
