Chris has just completed the three peaks challenge with his Mum, Carole. Starting at Ben Nevis, Scotland at 1pm on friday 19th, it was onto Scafell Pike, Lake District climbing by 2.30am in the dark and rain, then off to Snowdon, Wales for 3pm on Sat 20th, finishing at 10.30pm. 34 hours in total. A fantastic achievement for Carole, who was suffering greatly with her knees and her legs seized up on Snowdon so it was a painful descent.
Chris led the way and supported his mum up and down each mountain, Carole was raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and has so far riased £1,690, Liz drove and made sure everyone was fed and watered, so all in all it was a great team effort.
