Thailand cycle touring photo gallery

5th June - 10th October 2010: 127 days / 30 days cycling / 36 days teaching

After sailing to Krabi, we stayed in Railay for a week before taking a long tail boat to Krabi. From there we cycled up the west coast to Khura Buri, Ranong, Kra Buri before crossing to the east coast at Chumphon, onto Bang Sapahan, Pruchup and Hua Hin. We took a train to Bangkok and left Bangkok by train to Kanchanaburi. From here we cycled to Dan Chang, Nong Chang, Kamphaeng Phet, Tak, Thoen, Li, Mae Pok, Lamphun up to Chiang Mai. From Chiang Mai we travelled by car to Tomato Village, Mae Hong Son, where we stayed for 7 weeks teaching English. Leaving Mae Hong Son we took a minivan to Pai and a bus from Pai back to Chiang Mai. From Chiang Mai we cycled up to Chiang Dao, Fang and Tha Ton. We took a long tail boat down the River Kok to Chiang Rai, then cycled to Chiang Khong before crossing the border into Laos.
